Day 1:

Arrive into Juan Santamaría International Airport (San Jose, Costa Rica)

Head to your accommodations for a quick overnight stay
Day 2:

Take an early morning bus to La Fortuna

Spend the day exploring Parque Nacional Volcán Arenal

Dine and unwind at a natural hot spring
Day 3:

Hire an incredibly scenic “taxi-boat-taxi” to take you from La Fortuna across Lake Arenal to Monteverde

Spend the day exploring the Monteverde Cloud Forest

Keep exploring into the evening with a Night Tour of the Monteverde Cloud Forest (this is your opportunity to see the nocturnal critters)

Day 4:

Start your day right with a Coffee Tour (… and sugarcane… and chocolate!)

Beeline to your accommodations in Tamarindo, Costa Rica

Catch one of Tamarindo’s famous sunsets on the beach
Day 5:

Take an AM surfing lesson in Costa Rica’s top surf destination (don’t worry, the waves here are good for beginners!)

Spend the afternoon on an all-you-can-eat, all-you-can-drink catamaran tour
Day 6:

Free day on the beach! (or at a different stop of your choice.)

Depart from Daniel Oduber Quirós International Airport (Liberia, Costa Rica)
